Caribbean Series Preview

Mi amigo Bruce Baskin is devoted to baseball on the world stage.  He follows what's happening on the diamond from Vietnam to China.  The long way around the globe.  He's recently started a blog and this week gives us a preview of the Caribbean Series which starts tomorrow in Mexicali, MX.  I'm looking forward to watching it on the MLB Network. I've listened to dozens of Mexican beisbol games over Internet radio and those fans know how to party.  Enjoy Bruce's blog World Baseball Today.

    I'm thinking of getting comcast cable in P-Towm and am wondering if the MLB channel is available in the basic package...

    Thanks for stopping by. The MLB network is a digital only channel so that means a box from Comcast. I think it's included in the $30/month package, but I can't tell for sure. If you're a total baseball junkie, you'll want to go with Comcast Extra Innings or if you've got a good computer and a reliable internet connection, you could look at an MLB.com subscription for about half the price of Extra Innings. Hope that helps!
