Summer hasn't officially arrived for PTownFan until the warm juices of a perfect sun ripened peach have dribbled down my chin... ideally into a bowl of homemade ice cream while enjoying a baseball game on a warm evening. For the last two weeks, I've prowled the produce aisles in search of a juicy peach, not the tennis ball textured imposters the local markets have been peddling. Finally, I have found them. Bushels of them. At Anderson's Gunsmith Shop. Really.
Seems the Anderson family has decided to dive headlong into the fresh produce business, transforming the gunsmith shop at 2485 Petaluma Boulevard North (across from the Factory Outlet Mall) into a quaint little produce market. Glenn, the proprietor, goes to market for the freshest fruits and veggies each morning and produce from the Anderson family farm on Bodega will also be featured.
What the heck does this have to do with baseball? PTownFan believes that if a diehard fan of America's Game needs to divert attention from the game to the grill, you owe it to yourself to savor every bite. As a perpetually picky peach purchaser, I can vouch for their high standards. It's like a Farmer's Market 7 days a week. Enjoy this culinary PTown Pearl .

Give PTownFan a shout. It will make her day to know there is someone out there ;-) Don't worry. She doesn't always talk about herself in the third person like The Rickey.
