Durham Doesn't Get It Done In 13 Inning Pitcher's Duel

Fans of Rays Baseball hijacked a lot of bandwidth last night as both the Rays and the Bulls went deep into extra innings looking for one more run. The Rays went home happy, but the Bulls came up short losing game two to Scranton Wilkes Barre. The Championship will be decided in Durham. Perhaps tonight.

The Bulls and Yankees were scoreless through 12. Mitch Talbott pitched a brilliant game, tossing 8 shutout innings and fanning 8 while giving up only 3 hits. The bullpen held on until the 13th when Yankee Bernie Castro knocked in the game's only run with a single to left center. The Bulls had lots of opportunities to score, stranding 12 last night. Jonny was 1 for 5 with a single and 3 Ks.

It's now or never for the Bulls in the 3 of 5 Championship Series. MiLBTV says we can watch for free tonight. No Rays game. I'll be there!

Give PTownFan a shout. It will make her day to know there is someone out there ;-) Don't worry. She doesn't always talk about herself in the third person like The Rickey.
