JOEY GOMES (OF, Joliet Jackhammers, Northern League IND):
7/11: Joey had the big night he's needed. He was 3 for 6 with an RBI single, a run scored as Joliet beat the Goldeyes 15-12 in Winnipeg and improved their record to one game over .500. .253 Avg.

CHAD FILLINGER - P, Joliet Jackhammers, Northern League - IND:
7/11: 1.2 innings pitched, with 4 Ks and no hits. 3.21 ERA.

LOUIS OTT (DH/INF Detroit Tigers Organization - Erie Seawolves, AA):

7-11: Did not play in Erie's 15-18 loss to Altoona, but Lou's name finally appeared in the League Transactions Log so hopefully we will see him soon. .260 avg.

TOMMY EVERIDGE (1B, Oakland A's Organization - Midland Rockhounds, AA):
7-11: 0 for 4 but reached base on error twice, converting those opportunities into runs as Midland topped San Antonio 8-3. .257 Avg Recap

KONRAD SCHMIDT (C, Arizona Diamondbacks Organization - SouthBend Silver Hawks, A):

7-11: Impressive in his debut at Catcher with the Oaks going 2 fo 3 with a 2 out RBI double, scoring the Oaks only run in a 1-7 loss to San Jose. Konrad also gunned down a runner at 2B showing the Oaks some good D. .667 Avg

JONNY GOMES (DH, Tampa Bay Rays):
7-11: 0 for 3 in the Rays 5th consecutive loss. .185 Avg The Rays managed 8 hits, but couldn't push anyone across as the Indians notched their second win after a 10 game losing streak.

BRANDON MORROW (P, Seattle Mariners):
7-10: Ugh. It had to happen. After not giving up a run since May 27th, Brandon experienced his first blown save last night in an extra innings loss to Oakland. He inherited a two run lead, but gave up solo home runs to Cust and Suzuki to send the game into extra innings. His ERA now stands at 1.23.

9/10 Year Olds:
All Petaluma teams have been eliminated.

10/11 Year Olds - District 35 Final:
PNLL , winners of the South Area, lost to Mark West last night 9-15. They play the winner of the Mark West/Ukiah game tomorrow at 11am in Ukiah in a do or die game. The winner of the District tourney represents D35 in the Section I Tourney in Albany.

11/12 Year Olds (Major/Little Leauge All Stars) - District 35 Final:
South Area Champs, PVLL, continue on the Road To Williamsport for the Little League World Series with a 12-2 win last night over Ukiah. They will meet the Losers' Bracket winner Monday at 6pm for the District Championship. Next stop, should they win, will be the Section I Tourney in Woodland.

Junior All Stars - District 35 Final:
PALL lost to Healdsburg last night in a "hit 'em where they ain't" performance by Healdsburg. It's a brand new season for both teams this morning at 11am at Helen Putnam Park in Cotati as the winner will take home the District Flag and continue on the Road to the Junior Division World Series in Taylor, Michigan . Next stop: Section I Tourney hosted by Mill Valley, though the games are played in Terra Linda on Nova Albion Way near Kaiser Permanente. The D35 Champion's first game will be on Sunday at 2pm.

Senior Division All Stars - District 35 Final:
The combined PALL/PNLL/PVLL team were eliminated on Thursday.
