Durham Battered By Louisville And Lots of Friday Night Baseball For PTown Fans

Wild one in Louisville last night. After taking Wednesday's opener 3-0, The Bulls were BBQed last night. The Bats went nuts with 24 hits and clobbered the Bulls 19-3. Durham mounted a three run rally in the 8th, saving themselves the humiliation of a 19-0 shutout. Thank God. The Bulls would have had 4 runs, but came up 90 feet short after Jonny was hit by a pitch and batted over to third. Speaking of Jonny, ouch. 0-4 in the opener and 0-3 last night. Lotsa fly balls. Dump a few more wheaties in the breakfast bowl Jonny. We need those pearls to get outta the park.

The Rays finally beat the Yanks last night. Kaz was lights out with a one hitter through 6.

Big Friday night on tap for PTown Baseball Fans (all times are PTownTime):
  • Durham goes for a 2-1 series lead at 4:05.
  • Brandon Morrow gets a start in Seattle against the New York Yankees at 7:10 more on Brandon's Big Night
  • The Rays play the poop disturbers in Toronto. It's Sonny vs Halladay. Buckle your seatbelts and do all your good luck karma conjuring magic. The Rays may need it.
  • PTownFan is still hoping to hear that Tommy Everidge's phone rang with the Sacramento Rivercats on the other end of the line. Could happen. Last year he made it all the way home before Sacto decided they might need his help.

Give PTownFan a shout. It will make her day to know there is someone out there ;-) Don't worry. She doesn't always talk about herself in the third person like The Rickey.
